In Year one we have been designing and making our own bags. We started by testing different fabrics to see which would be the most suitable to use and then practised different sewing techniques, such as running and blanket stitch. Next, we tie dyed fabric, which we made into handles, and finally we designed and decorated our bags using fabric pens and sparkly gems.
