This week, Year 3 started learning about the perimeter of shapes. We used our previous learning about length and different addition strategies in order to calculate the perimeter of different 2D shapes. We also discussed how we could use our knowledge of the properties of shapes to help us find the missing lengths of sides. It was very important that we used our rulers accurately when measuring!
