This week in Reception we have been exploring 2D shapes. We have learnt to name and describe different 2D shapes. The children enjoyed going on a shape hunt around the classroom with a partner to find objects shaped like a circle, triangle, square and rectangle. They drew the objects they found, to share with the rest of the class.
They have been working together to tesselate shapes to create pictures. This group of friends made a rocket!
