Year 4 have been learning about the physical geography of planet Earth. We have located the equator, N Northern and Southern hemispheres, Tropics of Cancer and Capricorn and Arctic and Antarctic circles in atlases and on large maps. Some of the photos show us taking part in a collaborative activity in the playground where we consolidated what we had learned. When reviewing our prior learning on continents and oceans, we discussed continents that we felt particular links to. This week we will be looking at why climates of countries are different depending on where they are located.
