As part of our Science learning in Autumn 1, Year 5 investigated whether bigger parachutes or smaller parachutes would fall more quickly.
After making a range of differently sized parachutes, we took them outside to test them. We recorded our results, drew a conclusion and then used our learning about forces to explain why bigger parachutes fell more slowly than small parachutes.
