In Art, we have been learning about how tints and shades can be used to show water moving from dark to light. First, we learnt how a tint is made by adding white and a shade is made by adding black. Then we used inspiration from artists such as Joy Labinko to practise. Some children also created waves pictures based on Hokusai's print 'The Great Wave'. We are really proud of our final pieces of art.
