This half term Year 3 will be learning about Judaism. This week, they learnt about Shabbat, what it means to Jewish people and how they celebrate it. The children created their own Shabbat tables and role played the event. They also labelled the tables to explain the items that were there, such as Shabbat and Havdalah candles, challah bread and a Kiddush cup for wine.
