This term, Bannockburn have teamed up with Platform Cricket, a charity program aimed at increasing the number of children in London participating in cricket whilst supporting their personal and social development.
Our Year 4s took part in their sessions as part of a 5 week program. This week, the focus was on the 'straight drive' - a deliberate shot that aims to hit the ball along the ground to prevent being caught out.
The children took part in some skill based games before a whole class competition in order to put their learnt skills into action!
