During Maths, Oak class worked with their shoulder partner to measure objects around the classroom. We discussed the relationship between mm and cm and spoke about using a metre stick to measure larger objects.
We looked carefully at the units of measure on our rulers and measured
objects in both centimetres and millimetres, converting accordingly.
To convert from cm to mm, we multiplied by 10. To convert from mm to cm,
we divided by 10.
