This term, Year 6 have been developing their fraction knowledge. Been able to calculate with fractions is challenging but Year 6 have showed the school value of perseverance and have had a really successful week!
Children have been learning to multiply fractions by integers and proper fractions. They are able to represent the process by using bar models and area models. They can even simplify their answers using their knowledge of factors!
