Year 6 recently visited the Horniman Museum and had a hands-on day consolidating their learning from Autumn 1 and developing their learning of evolution and inheritance from Autumn 2.
Children explored the Horniman Museum, tasked with finding out information about fossils, the evolution of humankind and the evolution and adaptation of a range of animals.
They also took part in a workshop aimed at consolidating their learning about the Amazon Rainforest and extending their knowledge of fossils, adaptation and the threat of climate change.
