Firefighter Dave and his friends from Plumstead fire station came to visit Reception. Linked to our learning about people who help us in the community, the firefighters told us how they help keep people safe. We prepared questions to ask them and they were willing to answer them all! They show us key items of their uniform and equipment.
We were very excited when they said we could all have a go at using the hose linked to the fire engine.
