Safer Internet Day 2025

Safer Internet Day is an annual event that is celebrated in more than 180 countries and territories worldwide.

Every year, the day seeks to raise awareness of emerging online issues and concerns and helps to meet some of those challenges head on.

This year it was celebrated on the 11th of February and was based around the theme 'Too good to be true? Protecting yourself and others from scams online'.

Classes on both sites held a class assembly that focussed on spotting a scam:

S - Seems too good to be true

C - Contact you did not expect

A - Asked for personal information

M - Money or trade being asked for

On Wednesday, all of the school PLG digital leaders met to discuss the assemblies and created posters to take back to their classroom. Here are some of the posters they created:
