This week in Reception we have started our new 'Talk for Writing' text called, 'The Sleepy Bumblebee'.
We received a mystery parcel from an unknown person. The children had to work out clues and answer questions about what it was and who it could be from.
The first item which was pulled out of the box was a bee keepers suit.
We spoke about why this person might have to wear and when they might wear it.
There was also another package in there and it was a frame home the beehive where all the cells were.
The children had a smell of the cells and it was sweet just like the honey.
