Year 3 were working on problem solving today. They were set a challenge to roll a dice twice to come up with a two-digit number. They then had to make 5 steps where they could add or subtract 1,10 or 100 and had to try and land on 50. To achieve this, we used the 'write a number sentence strategy' to successfully solve the problem.
