Last week, Year 2 were invited to bring in items from home that represent religious or non-religious festivals that they celebrate at home. They then spent time sharing the items with their class, answering questions and discussing the new vocabulary that they heard.
We had contributions from Diwali, Christmas, Fireworks night, birthdays, naming ceremonies, Chinese New Year, Eid, Dashain and many others. Thank you to everyone who brought in their special items to share and well done to all of Year 2 for your kind and respectful questions!
