Year 5 had a fantastic time on their trip to the LSO this week. The concert used orchestral music, combined with traditional Indian music to tell the story of Diwali.
In the weeks leading up to the concert, they looked at how some of the music they would hear was composed, and explored different rhythms and ragas used in Indian music.
They explored how music can be used to illustrate events in a story.
