Today we learnt
about the kind of footwear Ancient Greeks would have worn. We identified the
importance of weaving in the design of the sandals and had a go at this
ourselves. We then discussed what a designer would need to consider when making
shoes for the Ancient Greeks. We discussed our ideas and added them to a mind
map to refer back to throughout the coming weeks when we begin to plan and make
our own Ancient Greek sandals.
