Reception - Active Maths with Apple Tree.

In Maths this week, Apple Tree in Reception have been practising their counting, number formation and looking at one more or one less than a given number. We have enjoyed being active in our Maths by running, racing against each other as well as throwing and catching balls.

On Tuesday, we enjoyed racing against each other to collect the cones. When the dice was rolled, we said the number it landed on and as quick as we could collected the same amount of cones. We were super quick, but had to make sure we had the right amount of cones to collect points for our team.

We also enjoyed using the big Numicon outside in our playground to practise our addition....
