Reading fun with Apple Tree and Oak Tree

Today, Year 4 walked over to High Street to enjoy a reading session with Reception. Apple Tree were very excited to share their favourite books with Oak Tree. They enjoyed listening to the stories that Year 4 had with them and even answered some questions about what they read. Reception were able to talk about their favourite books and even had a try at reading some of the books to Year 4.

We love reading so much, that when we got back to class we carried on reading with our friends.

Huma said: "The Cinderella story was my favourite."
Aaryan said: "I was reading my story to Year 4."
Victoria said: "My partner was so good at reading....we looked at two books."
Demilade said: "I want to read to Year 4 again."
