Ready, Steady, Cook with Pear Tree

On Thursday 12th March, Pear Tree were very excited to make vegetable stir fry with noodles for Mini Chef. We spoke about healthy foods and how vegetables are good for us and decided that in our stir fry  we would put  some carrots, onions, green beans, courgettes, peppers, mushrooms and some garlic. 


When it was our time to cut the vegetables, we thought about good hygiene practices, including washing our hands, wearing an apron and wearing a hair net. 

We were all so sensible when using the knives to cut. Always making sure we held the handle. Some of us even had a turn at peeling the carrots and courgettes. Miss Travis and Miss Brownless cooked all the ingredients as this was hot. 

The vegetable stir fry and noodles was a success and we sold them all to our parents :)
